Yahoo the Yahoo & Scamming Scum

I just blocked and deleted sixteen scammy spam emails from my Yahoo the yahoo email. No, seventeen — I just blocked another. Seventeen in one morning.

Even cats are sick of scammers.

I knew Yahoo email is a menace when twice in a row, magazines or anthologies accepted my short story submissions… and I didn’t notice this until they each reminded me, asking if I was still interested. I was appalled. The appropriately named Yahoo put my most important emails in the Spam folder. Meanwhile, scammy spam fills my Yahoo inbox. Yahoo the yahoo enables these predators.

I hate, loathe, despise, and abominate Yahoo the yahoo. I hate, loathe, despise, and abominate scammers.

Last week I learned how to block emails. Yahoo the yahoo email has three little dots on the top right. You click on an email and click on those dots, and a drop-down box shows some selections. Usually one of those selections is “Block sender.” Weirdly, sometimes you don’t have that option, though the message is obviously spam. (The process with Gmail is similar.)

Last week I blocked about twenty scammy spam emails in one day. It’s all Yahoo the yahoo — a terrible email provider. Even after I started blocking the scammers, they keep coming.

Sometimes the subject lines are advertisements. Other times, a psychopath is pretending to be a company — such as Instagram…
