The second amendment is obsolete. Notice the words "organized militia." An organized militia is the National Guard, not random citizens owning guns... and not gangs of white supremacist terrorists. An organized militia made sense for a new country in the 18th century--before the U. S. had a large army and navy. Now it has 1100 military bases around the world and its military spending is at least 60% of the federal budget. The second amendment needs to be deleted, and Americans need to stop acting as though the Constitution can't be drastically updated. Other countries' constitutions were written in the 20th century and, among other things ours doesn't do, see women as human beings.
