Thank you so much for writing this--it makes so much sense. I've been using the word "Christofascist" and expanded Mona Eltahawy's phrase "foot soldiers for the patriarchy" (referring to patriarchal women) to "foot soldiers for the white supremacist cis-heteropatriarchy." Until you pointed it out in this article, I only associated white supremacy--not Christianity--with these bizarre white women voters. I've never had any interest in Christianity and like to say, "Thank Goddess I grew up with an agnostic dad." But even if I'd been brought up with that religion, I would have quickly rejected it, because it's important to think for yourself.
