I’ve been emailing letters to my senators and to President Biden and Vice President Harris quite a bit lately. I tell myself to hand write these letters, too, but… there’s so much to write. Here’s a letter I wrote my senators:

I just read an article talking about “growing momentum” around a gun control bill.

“Growing momentum”?!?!? A gun control law should have been passed years ago — that’s what a country that isn’t evil, stupid, and insane would have done. Any country in which politicians aren’t in the hands of a terrorist organization called the NRA. We don’t need “growing momentum.” Just pass the bill NOW.

I wrote to President Biden:

You’re the president. You have the power to sign an executive order to make automatic weapons illegal and background checks required. You have that power and need to do it NOW. Republifascist are psychopaths, sacrificing children to that terrorist organization, the NRA. sacrificing elderly and compromised citizens to the pandemic. Sacrificing women and marginalized genders to make them baby-making machines. Democrats are supposedly in power and need to take action. WRITE AN EXECUTIVE ORDER TO END MASSACRES NOW.
