Penguins in the House

In July 2021, I purchased a used Victorian-style dollhouse. It took me two months to redecorate. While priming the interior, I thought, “Millicent inherited a farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania. She and her partner Jocelyn moved into the farmhouse and hosted a housewarming party in October.”

Penguines wandering in the dining room

Even Jocelyn has no idea how penguins got into the house. Penguins in Pennsylvania? Preposterous! Yet here they are, waddling across the rug.

Jocelyn does not yet know the Doctor’s TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimensions in Space machine) landed in the barn. The Doctor brought the penguins. He told them to remain in the TARDIS, but like so many of the Doctor’s companions, they rebelled. Now they’re exploring the house and having a great time. They even ate some carrot cake.

The maid is baffled.
