Clearly I need to cut back on YouTube.

I don’t see how my algorithm could possibly give YouTube the impression that I’m interested in commercials in which a Willfully Ignorant white male kvetches about how surely Americans went to school and learned history (never mind that my elementary, junior high, and high school were not unusual in that the version of history they taught was primarily white male supremacist propaganda)… and says, “And yet they believe in socialism!” (This includes an image of Bernie Sanders, who’s not as far left as I am). Fool, if you knew what socialism is, you wouldn’t say that. Socialism is for the people, unlike your beliefs. You’re projecting your ignorance and your lack of education onto sane and educated people who believe in justice.

Too often, commercials for The Epoch Times interrupt the video I’m watching. Really, YouTube? Do you seriously think someone who watches Democracy Now!, Randy Rainbow, videos about Welsh witchcraft, cat videos, and Last Night Tonight with John Oliver — and who used to regularly watch Samantha B and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah — would be interested in The Epoch Times? I don’t see how you’ve mistaken me for a deranged white supremacist patriarch who voted for the orange toilet demon? Obviously not.
