Not the First President to Commit Crimes

I wouldn’t be surprised if presidents of the United States committing crimes and not being punished for it is quite common.

It’s true that Donald Dump is the first U. S. president to be arrested for crimes, but he is by no means the first U. S. president to commit crimes. This is disgusting and undemocratic. Bush and Cheney are war criminals who have never had consequences for their behavior. Even now, Dump is being charged for crimes that are minor compared to colluding with Russia against the U. S. and inciting an insurrection — in other words, he’s a traitor.

There need to be consequences for the criminal behavior of powerful white men, whether they are politicians or CEOs (like of Boeing), including at the presidential level. In other countries, presidents are convicted of crimes — during and after they are in office.

Poor Black people are treated like criminals just for… having cannabis, which should be legal at the federal level. The only reason it isn’t legal federally is because Nixon knew he couldn’t throw people in jail for being Black or for being anti-war. Meanwhile, the most dangerous criminals — those who do the most harm to our country and to the world — are powerful white males like Donald Dump.

This sociopathic country needs to stop rewarding predators. Stop rewarding powerful…
