Nowadays I take my boundaries and instincts too seriously to regularly associate with misogynists/narcissists/sociopaths in real life. Online is a different story, and I read/watch/listen to news.

Something I keep noticing about misogynists, mainly online — politicians, bloggers, and trolls — is that they lie about feminism and reproductive rights all the time. They don’t know anything about either and have no interest in learning, of course. Worst of all is that misogynistic politicians who don’t understand the first thing about women’s reproductive organs make laws controlling women’s bodies. Power-tripping control freak misogynists make shit up to support their agenda.

One of the bizarre attitudes misogynists exhibit is embracing abortion stigma, as though this were a bizarre 1950s time loop. Groundhog Day… but you keep waking up in the 1950s surrounded by batshit cishet white males who firmly believe they’re the only people who are… people. They weaponize their privileges against the rest of us. Every time a power-tripping control freak misogynist trolls a reproductive justice organization, saying, for instance, “The choice women have is to cross their legs,” (I’m not making this up), you wake up again in the same dystopia.
