I agree with almost everything here, with two slight exceptions:
1. I have white privilege, but I'm afraid of cops. I lived as a cis white (Celtic & Ashkenazi) woman in St. Louis for a decade, and while white women won't get killed by cops just for being women, they can expect to get harrassed by white male cops. I acknowledge cops are far worse toward people of color, especially Black people.
2. Hiring discrimination also applies to women and marginalized genders, regardless of their color. Unconscious bias (and conscious bias, for that matter) applies to gender in addition to race. (See the book Invisible Women).
