My dad and I drove from Portland, Oregon to Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and to Seattle, Washington, in May 2012.

Today we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant in the basement — it has kind of an art deco look with many mirrors-mosaics. And yet… it also looked like it was last redecorated in the 1980s. There’s also a big rack of jellies just like the previous hotel restaurant…
