Who are the fascists in your neighborhood?

CD, Yiddish Glory: The Lost Songs of World War II

Not only did that Republifascist Kanye West tweet antisemitic crap on Twit (but at least his post was taken down, never mind that fascist frat boy Elon Musk eagerly allowed him to rejoin Twit).

Additionally, someone on the app Nextdoor posted a complaint that her next-door neighbor has a swastika in their apartment window — and yes, the Nazi kind, not the ancient Asian sun symbol. I felt disgusted but not surprised. What infuriated me the most is how people reacted.

The responses proved the town where I live harbors a great many complacent and willfully ignorant white people. Some sound strangely like Nazi sympathizers.

I read comments from many complacent fools, fascists, and/or Nazi apologists who don’t care about common decency or can’t be bothered to do so. They think they can gaslight the person who posted into believing hate speech is “free speech” and she’s the one practicing fascism by being intolerant of her neo-Nazi neighbor. They also essentially told her to mind her own business. One commenter even claimed that her Nazi neighbor is being “peaceful” by leaving a Nazi swastika in the window.

I blocked a great many assholes on Nextdoor today.
