Daffodil the Dragon, Anti-Fascist Avenger (3)
Writing these dragon vignettes is cathartic.
A small crowd… a tiny, dinky, miniscule, paltry, petite, wee crowd gathered before the Congress building on the day that the Orange Menace was to be sworn in as dictator of the former United States of America, now the Republic of Gilead (in essence, if not literally in name). Daffodil the dragon was astonished at how small the crowd was. She ignored the security guards, most of whom didn’t want to protect that fascist dictator, that Hitler fanboy, or any of his psychotic worshippers, anyway.
Some of the security guards wished they were in Canada. Others yearned to move to New Zealand or even Scotland or Nigeria. Fascism is on the rise, and it certainly doesn’t help that the U. S. is a highly influential country worldwide.
Or a highly prominent laughingstock. Or a glaringly obvious horror and warning about how not to do things. For indeed, the world is looking on in horror.
Meanwhile, seventy million fascist white male supremacist psychopathic morons are gloating and threatening women and people of color — stalking them online and on person. These fascist fools have zero self-awareness and therefore don’t care what sane people, including sane people around the world, think of their country and the fact that they’re so evil, stupid, and insane that…
