A Quirky Science Fiction Dream

After waking at 7:45 am, I fell back to sleep while reading (in reaction to the new Idaho abortion ban) Jane Against the World: Roe v Wade and the Fight for Reproductive Rights by Karen Blumenthal.

I dreamed I was sitting in a plain white waiting room reading a book about reproductive rights… and reading a section on Jane. Or it started with a book, and I switched to the Jane website.

It turned out the organization now has a large, elaborate, sophisticated clinic/institute… inside Mount Rushmore. The book even had a map of this Institute. I was fascinated and excited by this weird information. The name of the organization included four words ending with “Institute.” I forget the other 3 words.

Next I was dreaming a science fiction adventure dream in which several activists were breaking into the headquarters of some organization that seemed pretty sinister. Maybe it was the same dream — it had been that same Institute at one time but was since taken over by a fascist organization, probably part of the federal government. The activists were breaking in to find abortion-providing equipment and Plan B pills.

There were long, while tiled hallways leading to various rooms. A couple of people, including maybe a white woman wearing black and a young black guy dressed like the Ghostbusters but without the gadget on his…
