A Dream Influenced by the Current Dystopia
This morning I woke from a disturbing dream about a corporation run by a family of sociopathic fascists who have an elaborate machine that forces women employees to become pregnant.
At the dream’s end, with help from a few friends, I expose the evil plan in front of a bunch of the women employees whom the company has impregnated. Furious, they approach the machine — in front of their evil employers — and declare they refuse to be forced to have children.
The women reach the machine while their employers stand around watching (and maybe drinking cocktails). The women start break the machine at the very end. This involves hammers.
It has a sort of counter with glowing, mostly yellow, lights. The machine looks like an Art Deco concrete structure in a town square — built right on a sidewalk — and in front of a huge building, presumably the headquarters of the evil business. Along the front of the machine is the counter with glowing lights: this is the part that gets attached to employees to make them pregnant. The concrete center of the structure comes up in a tall point.
While reading the disturbing novel Tripping Arcadia by Kit Mayquist, I’ve been thinking these depraved, cruel parties in the novel must be what Elon Musk’s parties are like. But maybe the billionaire family in the novel is based on…
